Our Team
Randy was born and raised in the Wadena/ Verndale area of Minnesota. He learned his first steps of his building career from his father who owned a contracting business. He followed in his father’s footsteps and went on to build homes and businesses, which has become his lifelong career and passion for Randy. He later expanded his career to include Real Estate when he received his real estate and Brokers license in 2001.
Randy enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and working at promoting his ideas relating to his passions.
Berni Halaas and Randy Weiher opened New Century Real Estate’s office in Sauk Rapids in 2006 when they moved to central Minnesota.
Berni stepped into the Real Estate arena in 1987 when she began working in the mortgage industry. She was licensed as a REALTOR® in 1988 and worked in the Minnetonka and West Metro areas of Minneapolis. Her passion for creativity and problem solving combined with the desire to create safe, warm, and inviting spaces led Berni to Century College where she completed the Interior Design program. In addition, Berni also graduated with a BA in Business Management, and a minor in Economics and Psychology, from Augsburg College.
Berni’s experience in real estate, the construction industry, interior design, and mortgage fields, enable her to work effectively through any real estate issue and communicate with her clients so they fully understand all aspects of the home buying and home selling process.
Berni and Randy love helping others and enjoy their family, which includes four adult children and ten fantastic grandchildren.
I was introduced to real estate and the construction industry when I worked for Ridgewood Construction and Real Estate Inc. in Fergus Falls. I fell in love with the industry and applied for my Real Estate license in 2014. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Augsburg University and worked in the accounting field in the Twin Cities area prior to starting my career in real estate.
The qualities I hold near and dear are integrity, thoughtfulness, and compassion. I enjoy working with Sellers and Buyers. Communication is key in helping my clients with their real estate needs and home ownership goals.
I reside in Blaine but work with clients throughout the metro area and surrounding communities. I enjoy knitting, gardening, and biking.
Timothy brings a unique blend of entrepreneurship, marketing expertise, and deep community ties to his work in real estate. A Marketing Executive since 2008, and now business owner, Tim is no stranger to navigating complex processes, a skill he now applies to helping clients through one of the biggest decisions of their lives: buying or selling a home.
“I see myself as a real estate co-pilot,” Tim says. “My clients know where they want to go, I’m simply here to assist them in getting there. Like a loyal co-pilot or a trusted golf caddy, I handle the details and watch for turbulence so they can stay focused on what matters most, their home or investment.”
Tim is deeply rooted in the Central Minnesota Community, having served in many leadership roles. He and his wife have been married since 2008 and are raising six children together. Real estate is a long-time career goal for Tim, one that now complements his continued service to clients both inside and outside of his marketing agency, Agency511.
Sharon has been involved in the real estate arena since 2013. She joined New Century Real Estate in 2016. Her real estate knowledge and experience in the field are an asset for our team.

Sharon oversees the behind-the-scenes needs of our office, supports our agents, maintains our website and social media presence, and manages our advertising and marketing. She assists our agents with real estate transactions for our buyers and sellers.
At home, Sharon is an avid flower gardener. She and her husband, John, enjoy traveling, hiking, going for walks, reading, and golf; have three children and seven grandchildren.
